At the end of 2013, in the midst of his fight with cancer, Lloyd Pye gave one last interview for the History Channel's program "Ancient Aliens." There is no clearer sign of Lloyd's dedication to the Project and to solving the mystery that is the Starchild Skull.
In the last Facebook post Lloyd authored before his sad passing he wrote:
"...We all have to face the grim reality that I am leaving all of our lives. I thank you so much for the help you've given me to help the STARCHILD PROJECT get funded. Please continue."
Lloyd Pye was an exceptional man, and the Starchild Project Team intend to finish the work he started with the Starchild Skull. We are continuing to raise funds for the DNA testing that Lloyd believed was the only way to prove, once and for all, what the Skull is, and also taking advantage of free and inexpensive complimentary tests whenever they become available. Lloyd's shoes are impossible to fill, but we will all continue to fight for the answers that he strove to uncover, and the only true way to do that is to complete the DNA testing. We need your support to make that happen.
